Today, personal registration of the population is carried out automatically, so you should not be surprised when a letter from the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation comes to your address a few months before you reach retirement age. In it, you will be asked to prepare the necessary documents according to the attached list, according to which the pension will be calculated. You can also think in advance about how it will be more convenient for you to receive this money.

It is necessary

  • - a plastic card of one of the banks, whose branches are located in your city;
  • - a service agreement with this bank;
  • - passport.

Instructions

Step 1

Most old school retirees prefer to have their pension brought in by the postman on the appointed day. On this day, you should be at home and wait for the pension to be brought to you right there. If the building is a multi-family home, your cash pension will go to the post office that serves your home. On the set day, you can go there with your passport and receive the amount due. If you missed that day, you can receive your pension in the next 2 days following this. In the event that during these three days you did not show up for your pension, you can go for it in the first days of the next month. In this case, you can immediately be handed over the amount for two months, even if the term of the second pension has not yet approached.

Step 2

But today this method is not very convenient for those retirees who continue to work or do not want to queue at the post office to receive their money. If it is more convenient for you to transfer your pension to a plastic bank card or savings book, you need to open a current bank account, where the pension will be transferred. In this case, when you come to draw it up at the local branch of the Pension Fund, having the necessary package of documents in hand, take with you the agreement concluded with the bank for servicing your account.

Step 3

At the Pension Fund, make a copy of the bank agreement and present it along with the original to the inspector who will accept your documents for calculating the pension. The inspector will give you an application form in which you will have to indicate the bank details of the account and state your desire to receive money on a card or passbook. In about a month or a month and a half after that, your money will be transferred immediately to the account, from where at any convenient moment you can withdraw it partially or completely.
