The easiest way to find out your card balance is using an ATM, including a third-party ATM (but in this case, a commission may be charged) or through Internet banking. You can also call your credit institution's call center or visit their office in person.
It is necessary
- - a plastic card;
- - ATM;
- - computer with Internet access;
- - telephone;
- - passport.
Instructions
Step 1
If you want to use an ATM, insert the card into the device and select the “Account balance” option (“Available balance” or other similar) from the menu on the screen.
Most likely, the device will prompt you to choose whether to display the balance on the screen or print it on a receipt. Some ATMs print the receipt immediately by default.
Further, the device often offers the choice to interrupt or continue work.
When using an ATM of a third-party credit institution, a commission may be charged for the operation.
Step 2
The phone number of the call center of the bank or mobile banking is written on the back of the card. Identify yourself in the system (usually the card number as a login and password that you invented when activating the card or received at the bank, some identify the client by the phone number).
Most often, you can find out the account number by following the prompts of the autoinformer. Otherwise, you will have to contact the operator and ask him a question about the balance.
If you have mobile banking, you can often find out the balance by sending an SMS to a short number. The instruction can be on the bank's website or in the documents issued to you when you activate the service.
Step 3
During a personal visit to the bank branch, show the operator your passport and card and inform that you are interested in the available account balance.
