Step 1
Visit the nearest branch of Sberbank. Go to the window where the service is provided to individuals and ask the operator to check your bank card account. Give it to the operator and show your passport to prove you are the cardholder. Enter your pin code when prompted. The operator will tell you the amount that is on your account.
Step 2
Use an ATM. If you do not have time to visit the bank, you can use an ATM. Please note that the ATM must be Sberbank, because the terminal of another bank will not be able to provide information about the balance of your card. Insert the card into the ATM and enter the pin code. Then select "Information and service" and "Card balance". After that, take a check, on it you will see the amount that is in your account.
Step 3
Activate the "Mobile Bank" service. The first two months it is provided free of charge, and then a small amount will be debited from your account every month (30 rubles for 2011). To find out the balance of your card, send an SMS with the number "01" and then without a space 5 last digits of your card. In a reply message you will receive information about the status of your account.
Step 4
Use the service "Sberbank - on-line". To connect it, resort to the help of the bank's consultants or activate it yourself through an ATM. After connecting Internet banking, you will have a login and password from your personal account. Enter them on the Sberbank website and you can immediately see the balance on your personal account.
Step 5
Print your receipt if you have withdrawn money from an ATM machine. After you have indicated the amount you want to withdraw, you will have a choice whether to print a check or not. If you click "Yes", you can see on the check how much money you have withdrawn and how much you have left on the card.
