The process of automation of production is an activity aimed at the development of machine technology, in which the very control functions, previously reproduced by man, are transferred to special automatic devices. In this case, the automation of production activities helps to significantly increase labor productivity and facilitate the work of workers.
Instructions
Step 1
Conduct an assessment of the automation object in production. Think about what you would like to replace in the company, what equipment needs to be purchased for this and what can increase the productivity of the enterprise.
Step 2
Develop a plan of technical specifications and select the most optimal elements for solving the tasks. These can be special sensors and control tools, for example, for the operation of the equipment that produces the cable, as well as various kits for further collection and processing of all received information, special devices for providing an interface - a control panel for the normal activities of production dispatchers.
Step 3
Draw up design and estimate documentation (automation diagram, electrical schematic diagram, description of these algorithms for controlling systems control).
Step 4
Develop programs to help you implement control algorithms for new equipment (lower control). Then draw up a project of the algorithms for collecting, processing the received data (the upper degree of production management).
Step 5
Take care of securing the supply of the necessary equipment. After that, follow the completion of all necessary installation and commissioning work.
Step 6
Please note that you need to strive for total (changing over time) production automation. That is why it is necessary to carry out not only vertical, but also horizontal automation of levels (especially existing end devices, for example, machines for the production of some technological lines, electrical appliances, production sites) by software integration of the control system of each individual level.
Step 7
Please note that the levels must remain open for any further changes, for example, to increase the number of crafted items. In this case, a vertically integrated system can be depicted in the form of a certain pyramid, where the final devices (such as controllers, sensors or starters) will be located at the lower level, and in the middle - the degree of control with special operator stations or controllers. The upper part should be the production management, and all this should be united by local computer networks.
