Step 1
Each plastic card has its expiration date in the MM / YY format. For example, the inscription 06/10 means that the card is valid until 2010-30-06 inclusive, and from 2010-01-07 it will be blocked.

Banks carry out a scheduled re-issue of bank cards to their customers to replace cards that are nearing the end of their service life. It is produced free of charge. The cardholder must go to the branch of the bank that issued the old card and get a new one.

To replace an expired bank card, you need to present a passport, an agreement on its service. The card itself can be returned either before the expiration date, if it has already arrived at the bank, or after it has been blocked. By this time, a new card is already in the bank and is waiting for its owner. The old card will be destroyed before the eyes of the holder.
