Prices "bite" more and more, and more goods are required in everyday life. How to save money on purchases? You can look for low prices, but it is much more profitable to buy without VAT. It is legal and very economical.
Instructions
Step 1
There is a Duty free trading format. This means that the goods are sold without taxes at all. Imagine how much of this changes their value. You can find a place where Duty free sales are carried out on the Internet. Usually there are Duty free zones at airports, but you can find kiosks and entire shops operating in this mode. Duty free online stores have also appeared. To make a purchase there, select a product and indicate the international flight you are planning to fly. You can pay for the goods and pick them up on board the aircraft.
Step 2
If you are planning to fly to another country, find out in advance where the duty-free zone is located at the airport. You will be able to buy not only everyday goods, but also alcohol, perfumery and even jewelry. This will save you up to 50%.
Step 3
Consider the exchange rates. Duty free shops accept all currencies of the world for payment, but the exchange rate in the store may lag behind, and you risk overpaying. But if you have a lot of different currencies, you can safely pay with it. So you will usefully spend money that would mean nothing in the Russian Federation.
Step 4
Don't forget about restrictions and rules. Take into account the customs regulations of the countries through which your route lies. Check the law of the country for any restrictions on the import of any goods.
Step 5
Also, you may be faced with the price limit. When your purchases exceed it, you will receive all other goods at a price including all taxes.
Step 6
Give up the idea of a wholesale purchase. There is a limitation in Duty free zones. Usually these are 10 of the same thing. Please note that a large number of your purchases may be considered commercial.
Step 7
There is also Tax Free Shopping: you receive the taxes paid for the purchase when you leave the country. Please note that for this type of shopping you need to be a foreigner in the country, the goods must cost at least 40 euros, when leaving the country you need to show the goods unused to the customs officer. To find out if a foreign store operates under such a system, look for the Tax Free Shopping icon.
