Yandex. Money is one of the most popular payment systems in Russia (along with Webmoney and MoneyGram). To pay for goods and services, you must enter a payment password, which users often forget.

Step 1
The easiest way is to try to recover your payment password from memory. Moreover, it may turn out to be easier if you remember the fact that a password in the Yandex. Money system can only consist of numbers that must be different from each other (ie, a password like “1111111” will not be accepted). All these numbers should be at least seven.
Step 2
For security reasons, almost all popular payment systems have authentication through an associated mobile phone number. If you have access to a mobile phone connected to Yandex. Wallet, the payment password recovery procedure will be quick and painless.
Step 3
Follow the link "Remember payment password" (it is available on all pages of the site where you need to make a purchase / transfer of funds). You will receive an SMS with a one-time confirmation code.
Step 4
A link will appear on the main page of the site asking you to enter a verification code. Enter the code sent by SMS. A window with a service for changing the payment password will open.
Step 5
If there is no associated number, the recovery code that you entered when registering the wallet may come in handy. Follow the link "Remember payment password". The system will prompt you not to send SMS, but to receive an email with a link to a service that provides five attempts to enter the correct recovery code and date of birth. You will only get access to the wallet if you go through it correctly.
Step 6
If there is neither a linked phone nor a recovery password, the last option remains: write an application for linking a mobile phone. See Resources for a link to a sample contract.
