Step 1
To find out the account balance using an ATM, insert a card into it, enter the PIN-code and select the “Account balance” option from the menu on the screen (or another option similar in meaning).
Most often, at your choice, the balance can be displayed or printed on a check. But some devices display information on the receipt by default.
It is better to use an ATM belonging to Sberbank for this purpose. A commission may be charged for using someone else's.
Step 2
When using the Sberbank Online system, log in to it, enter the variable code (a list of them is usually printed out by the Sberbank ATM when the appropriate option is selected). Select the appropriate option in the interface.
You will see the account balance on the monitor screen.
Step 3
If you have mobile banking connected, send an SMS to the short number indicated in the instructions and wait for a response.
When using the economical option, each request is paid (in 2011 prices - 3 rubles). If you are subscribed to the full package, the service is included in the subscription fee (in 2011 prices - 30-60 rubles per month, depending on the class of the card).
Step 4
You can also call the 24/7 contact center. Its number is indicated on your card and on the Sberbank website. Select the option you need, following the instructions of the autoinformer, and he will announce the account status to you.
Step 5
Of course, you can also contact the clerk at the Sberbank branch, presenting him with your passport and card and informing you about the desire to find out the balance on it. But this option is the least comfortable possible.
