A natural disaster struck the Kuban on 6 July. In the flooded zone were the settlements of the Krasnodar Territory: Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk, Krymsk. Because of the poetry, many residents lost their homes. And some have lost their loved ones.
Naturally, the residents affected by the floods, the government and local authorities could not leave alone with their misfortune. Moreover, as it turned out, it was the latter that was unable to notify the population about the impending disaster. However, who is to blame for this has already been found out and the guilty ones have been punished.
As for the victims, they are provided with the payment of monetary compensation. Funds for its implementation have been raised from the budgets of the region and the Russian Federation. The corresponding decisions were prepared as soon as the disaster struck. The Governor of Kuban signed a document on the allocation of funds to the victims of the flood on July 7. The government of the Russian Federation prepared a similar resolution on Monday, July 9th.
It is planned to allocate 260 million from the regional budget for material assistance and compensation to the victims. This money is intended for 28 thousand citizens. A substantial amount has been allocated for these purposes from the federal budget. The funds began to be paid to the victims as soon as the disaster calmed down.
All victims will receive ten thousand rubles per person for the purchase of the most necessary things. In addition, for the rest of the needs of the victims, the allocation of 50 thousand from the regional and 100 thousand from the federal budgets is provided. In case of partial loss of property, each victim will receive 75 thousand rubles, with complete loss - 150 thousand rubles. Kuban has already received 3, 8 billion rubles for these purposes from the budget of the Russian Federation. The degree of loss of property will be determined by a special commission during a home visit to all households. The same families that lost loved ones during the disaster will receive two million rubles each: a million each from the federal and regional budgets.
For the damage to health caused as a result of the disaster, special compensation is also provided for from 200 thousand rubles for minor harm and up to 400 thousand rubles for medium and severe harm.
The authorities will help the victims with housing. The federal and regional budgets will be divided in half the costs of paying compensation for its restoration and construction.
