You can find out the available balance on a credit card through an ATM of your own or a third-party bank, by phone, through Internet banking or by personally contacting a bank branch. For checking the balance through the device of a third-party credit institution, a commission may be charged by both your bank and the one that owns the ATM.
It is necessary
- - credit card;
- - ATM;
- - computer with Internet access;
- - telephone;
- - passport.
Instructions
Step 1
Insert the card into the ATM, enter the PIN-code and select the "Account balance" option (or another name similar in meaning) from the menu on the screen.
Usually the ATM offers to choose whether to print a receipt with the available amount or display it on the screen. But it can also print a receipt by default.
After completing a transaction, the device will most often ask if you want to continue working. There are also those who simply return your card.
Step 2
To find out the balance through Internet banking, log in to the system. If information on account balances is not immediately visible, follow the appropriate link ("Accounts and Cards" or similar).
Step 3
To find out the state of the account by phone, call the call center of the bank or by phone of mobile banking.
Go through authorization and follow the instructions of the autoinformer or call the operator and tell him about your desire to find out the account balance.
Step 4
When contacting the bank in person, show the operator your passport and card and tell them about your desire to find out the balance of the account.
