Economic experts have prepared a list of things that will rise in price in 2016. What kind of things are included in this list and why will the price rise.
In 2016, the following groups of goods are expected to rise in price:
- clothes, shoes,
- household appliances and electronics,
- printed editions,
- construction and finishing materials.
The rise in price is due to the fact that in each of these goods there is an import component, respectively, since the dollar exchange rate has increased significantly over the past 3 weeks (by almost 30%), then the price of derivatives for these goods will grow.
What will happen to the prices of clothes and shoes. Updating your wardrobe in the coming spring will cost you 1.5 times more. Shoes will rise in price by 30%. It is either 100% imported from us, respectively, it will rise in price by all 30%, or the upper parts are imported to the factories, and we are already doing the firmware.
If the product is completely imported, then the price for it will grow with the dollar by all 30% or more. One hundred percent imports include such types of electronics and equipment as, for example, smartphones. The rise in price here will be significant.
Although prices for household appliances (refrigerators, microwave ovens, televisions, etc.) are tied to the dollar rate a little less, because they are made in our country, a significant rise in prices is expected in this segment as well. This is due to the fact that the production uses foreign components and equipment. Therefore, you should not be surprised that new price tags will appear in stores for the entire line of electronics and household appliances.
Prints, glossy magazines and books will rise in price due to paper. The price for this product will rise for the first time - in February, the second - in June. In this segment, the rise in price is expected by 15%.
And the last - materials for construction and decoration. As usual, the price here will change first in winter, and then in June-August. This seasonality is explained by the fact that it is during this period that many of us go on vacation and start doing repairs. During this period, prices in specialized stores increase by 15-20%. Imported materials may rise in price even more. As elsewhere, the rise in prices here occurs in proportion to the growth of the currency. Tiles, floor coverings, sanitary ware, especially imported ones, will rise in price.
In general, the rise in prices for goods will occur from February 1. January, as usual, is a festive month, but in February all companies will start working in full force. The stores will receive new consignments of goods at new prices. Here it would be useful to advise you to buy everything you need right now, without waiting for a rise in price. However, if there is no urgent need to buy, you do not need to succumb to the general excitement and buy something that is not urgently needed.
