Everyone knows the concept of "Thirteenth Salary". This is how the people call the annual award, which is one of the motivating tools at many domestic enterprises. This type of bonus can also be calculated in the ZUP 3.1 program.
The program "1C: Salary and Human Resources Management, version 3" provides for the accrual of bonuses at the end of the year. To do this, it is necessary to make certain settings in it, and then select the method of accrual and the procedure for payment.
Initial setup
To set up the ZUP 3.1 program for calculating a bonus at the end of the year, the following manipulations must be performed:
- first of all, you need to go to the page "Initial settings of the program";
- press the "Apply settings" button (in the "Accruals" window, two types of bonus accrual will appear);
- you need to use the "Annual bonus" button;
- it is necessary to put a check mark in front of the line "The annual premium is calculated".
Method of accrual
Of the three options for calculating a bonus (as a percentage of earnings, a fixed amount, or both), you need to choose the required one.
First way:
- on the page "Initial setting of the program" a checkbox is put in front of the line "We use the first method - the accrual of a percentage of earnings";
- after that the window "Bonus for the year (as a percentage) (Accrual)" will appear;
- in the column "Calculation and indicators" there should be a checkbox opposite the line "The result is calculated";
- in the column "Formula" a mathematical calculation is indicated, which provides for the definition of this indicator as the product of the calculation base by the ratio of the percentage of the premium to the number "100".
Second way:
- in the "Initial setting of the program" is set "We use the second method - the accrual of specific amounts in rubles";
- in the window "Bonus for the year (amount) (Accrual)" in the column "Calculation and indicators" should be indicated "The result is entered in a fixed amount".
Third way:
- in the "Initial setting of the program" is set "We use both methods of calculating the annual bonus";
- both types of charges become available.
Payment procedure
After determining the method of accrual, click the "Next" button, which will lead to the choice of the payment order. There are also three of them.
Bonuses are accrued at the discretion of the management during the final payroll calculation. This option implies the choice of the amount or percentage of the bonus at the end of the year for each individual employee. In this case, you must perform the following manipulations:
- in the column "Accrual in progress" put " Only if the value of the indicator is entered ";
- based on the preselected method of accrual in the documents "Entering the annual bonus" or "Entering the annual bonus as a percentage", the amount of the bonus remuneration is set;
- in the document "Calculation of salaries and contributions", the very registration of the annual bonus is carried out.
Bonuses are calculated in the inter-settlement period (separately from wages):
- the column "Accrual in progress" is filled in "According to a separate document";
- registration of the accrual of the annual bonus is made in the document “Prize”.
The bonus is accrued in one month along with salary (provides for annual accrual in a specific month):
- "Type of accrual" - "The amount of the bonus is assigned in advance using personnel documents";
- column "Accrual is performed" - "In the listed months";
- Registration of the annual bonus is made in the document "Calculation of salaries and contributions".
Final stage
As the last step in the registration of the annual bonus, it is necessary to set the value “2002” in the “Personal income tax code” column in the “Initial program settings” window.
