At the beginning of each year, the company is obliged to revise the cash balance limit and coordinate this value with its servicing bank. This rule is established by the Regulation of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation No. 14-P dated 05.01.1998. This takes into account the specifics and mode of the enterprise, the volume of cash turnover, the procedure and term for depositing cash to the bank, the possibility of servicing by the bank on weekends and in the evening, and other factors.

It is necessary

calculation form No. 0408020

Instructions

Step 1

Use the calculation according to the form No. 0408020 to establish the limit of the cash balance. Fill in the name and details of the company's account at the beginning, indicate the name of the servicing bank.

Step 2

Calculate the amount of cash proceeds received at the cashier of the enterprise during the last three months. In this case, not only the proceeds itself are summed up, but also cash receipts in the form of loans, earmarked funds and other income. Determine the average daily revenue by dividing the profit for the last three months by the number of working days of that period.

Step 3

Calculate the amount of cash spent on travel, general and other expenses in the last three months. This does not take into account the cost of paying wages and social benefits. Determine the organization's average daily cash expenditure.

Step 4

Enter the key figures in the appropriate calculation lines. If during this period the enterprise did not have any activity, then indicate the planned or expected profit or expense.

Step 5

Determine the deadline for submitting the over-limit revenue to the bank. Indicate the working hours of the enterprise and agree on the time of delivery of the proceeds. Also note the remoteness of the enterprise from the location of the servicing bank. Based on these indicators, the bank decides on the terms of service for accepting cash.

Step 6

Indicate the amount of the limit requested and the purpose for which you plan to spend the incoming cash proceeds. Check if the company has any budgetary arrears. This factor may be the main one that will affect the bank's decision to set the cash balance limit.

Step 7

Submit to the bank two copies of the calculation for setting the cash balance limit. On each of them, the bank puts down the accepted amount of the limit and indicates the purposes for which the company is allowed to spend cash from the proceeds coming to the cashier. After that, one copy is returned to the organization.
