However, many people not only do not remember it, but do not even know where to find it. If you have lost this number, you can restore it if you know where to go and how to act. So how do you find your retirement insurance number?

Instructions
Step 1
Find your retirement insurance certificate. But it is issued to all adult citizens. This is a green plastic card with your last name, first name and patronymic, year and place of birth, and your insurance retirement number.
Step 2
If you are officially employed, your insurance retirement certificate number must be kept in the accounting department of your organization. Contact there, and the staff will provide you with the necessary information.
Step 3
If you do not work or you do not have the opportunity to directly contact the accounting department, issue a new insurance certificate. To do this, contact the branch of the pension fund at your place of residence. Its coordinates can be found on the website of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (PF RF).
Step 4
On the main page of the PF RF website, click on the map of Russia with the caption "Select a branch on the map." The system will give you an enlarged map. Place the cursor over the location of the geographic image of your city, then click on it with the mouse. This will take you to the PF website for your region. In the section "About the branch" you will find contact numbers, address and opening hours of the branch.
Step 5
Come to your pension fund office during office hours. Take your passport with you. Check with the employee at the entrance to which window you need to contact in order to obtain an insurance retirement certificate.
Step 6
Fill out the form for obtaining or renewing a certificate. The form will be given to you by an employee of the foundation. Please enter all your details correctly and completely. There is no need to pay a fee for the execution of the document, it is issued free of charge.
Step 7
Check with the employee when your document is ready. This usually takes about a week.
Step 8
Get your pension certificate there, at the branch of the pension fund at your place of residence. It will show your new pension insurance number.
