Since meters for measuring the amount of hot water consumed began to appear in apartments, it became necessary to draw up a calculation method and a formula by which it would be possible to determine the cost of one cubic meter of water.
It is necessary
- - calculator;
- - a pen;
- - paper.
Instructions
Step 1
The cost of one cubic meter of hot water is the ratio of the monthly cost of hot water per person to the monthly consumption of cold water used to supply hot water. In order to determine the cost of one cubic meter of water, make the following calculations.
Step 2
To determine the monthly cost of hot water per person, determine the cost of heat energy used to heat the water. To do this, multiply the standard of consumed heat for hot water supply per person (check with the local administration) by the heat energy tariff (check with the Tariff Committee of your city).
Step 3
To determine the monthly cost of cold water consumption required for hot water supply, multiply the monthly amount of cold water consumed (you can find out its value in the Municipal Committee) by the price of cold water approved by the head of your city.
Step 4
Add the resulting value of the monthly cost of consumption of cold water required to supply hot water with the resulting value of the cost of heat energy used to heat the water. As a result, you get the monthly cost of hot water per person.
Step 5
Now you have all the values you need to calculate the cost of one cubic meter of hot water. Divide the resulting monthly cost of hot water per person by the amount of monthly cold water consumption for hot water supply.
