Let's say you bought a car in the salon, but after several days of operation, you realized that having such a car is life-threatening. Or, during the warranty period, the machine was repaired for a total of more than 30 days per year. What to do in such a situation, because a car is not a cheap pleasure?
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the store, present your receipt and sales contract and ask to exchange the product. Remember that a car, even bought on credit or used, is also subject to return and exchange.
Step 2
If similar car models offered to you by the seller did not suit you with a thorough inspection or test drive, file a claim, to which attach a receipt and a certified copy of the sales contract. Give these documents to the manager of the salon with whom you entered into a contract, so that he will return the money to you for a low-quality product. You can fill out the claim form at home, and then send them by registered mail to the car dealership. You should receive a response to this letter within 10 days. It is possible that the salon administration will offer you the elimination of defects as part of the warranty. Do not agree if you have repeatedly given the car for repair.
Step 3
In such disputes, the administration usually takes the side of the buyer, since no decent car dealership wants to risk its reputation by participating in pre-trial and court proceedings. But if the administration did not meet you halfway and is not going to return the money, contact an expert to identify the origin of the defects. By the way, a store can carry out such an examination, and in accordance with the law, you are obliged to attend it. Don't worry about costs: the examination should be carried out at the expense of the store. But if his administration refused to pay for the expert's services, pay for them yourself and take the bill.
Step 4
Read the expert opinion carefully. If the car's defects are recognized as manufacturing defects, and not appearing as a result of inept operation, the car dealership must return you the amount you spent on the examination.
Step 5
It may also happen that the store administration will refuse to return the money for the car and the expert's services in the event of a positive (for you) decision of the expert. Go to court and attach the results of the examination to the application. During legal proceedings, you may be asked to conduct a peer review of the machine. Agree to it, since the salon, provided that it loses the case, will have to pay for it too. For the case to be really winning, hire a good lawyer, especially since the administration of the trade establishment will be obliged by the court to reimburse you for these costs.
