Even some 15 years ago, buyers perceived a sale as an attempt to sell a defective product. However, over time, a similar experience of foreign companies has taken root in our country. Today, many buyers are eagerly awaiting a sale in their favorite stores in order to purchase the product they like at an attractive price.

Instructions

Step 1

Before carrying out a sale of goods, you need to:

- to designate for yourself its goals;

- to prepare the outlet for the sale;

- to think about its announcement.

Step 2

First, decide what the sale goals are:

1. A regular seasonal sale, which is held to free up the retail space from the remains of the unsold seasonal collection, in order to make room for a new collection, which is planned to be available at the outlet in the near future.

2. In order to sell a certain group of goods, the demand for which for some reason has fallen.

3. To increase the decreased customer flow.

4. If you decide to stop working with a certain supplier, then you can sell the remnants of this collection at pleasant prices for the buyer.

5. Carrying out a sale on the eve of the holidays, which will allow you to get a huge profit due to the demand that has increased several times.

Step 3

Next, prepare the retail space for the sale. You can choose a convenient option for presenting a group of sold products on the sales floor:

1. prepare a separate shelf / rack / stand for this category of goods, highlighting it with POS materials;

2. arrange the products in the general mass, highlighting the price tags of the best offers. (At the same time, price tags of different colors may correspond to different discounts: for example, a red price tag guarantees a 50% discount, a yellow one - 30%, and a green one - 15%.)

Step 4

You can also announce a sale by various means. For example, on a shop window you can place advertising materials in the form of the words "sale" and "sale", as well as discount percentages. In addition, if you contact an advertising agency, you will receive a slogan tempting for the buyer, which can also be placed on the window.

Step 5

You can draw attention to the sale by distributing flyers, leaflets, business cards. You can recruit promoters on your own or contact an advertising agency. The most important condition is the territory of distribution. For example, if the store is located in a large shopping center, then the promoter must work there or at the entrance to it. If the store stands apart, then the advertising products must be distributed in the immediate vicinity of it, in the direction of the movement of people in its direction.

Step 6

Thanks to advertising on the radio, it will be possible to contact your target audience, given the opportunity to choose a radio station. The ad must be very informative. All information that you would like to convey to the buyer can be placed in print media. However, this method has a small drawback: the presence of too many ads, which reduces the attention of the reader.

Step 7

Do not underestimate guerrilla methods either. A few students, for a modest fee, will create a buzz in the store by rummaging through stands and hangers with out-of-stock items, which will draw potential buyers there like a magnet. The sight of students trying on clothes in the trading floor should mentally say to those who are passing by and doubting: "The offer is excellent, I would have had time, but the dressing booths are all occupied."

Step 8

Summarizing the above, you can organize a sale by defining goals - preparing the premises - by making an announcement in the ways available to you.
