The honey trade exhibition has several goals. The supplier gets the opportunity to acquaint potential buyers with the entire range of their products, and the buyer can choose from many varieties the one that suits him best. A honey trade show can be organized at a grocery store as part of an agricultural show. The organizers can be clubs of beekeeping, gardening or alternative medicine.

Instructions
Step 1
Determine the goals of the trade show. First of all, take care of the buyer. He should be able to get acquainted with the exhibits, as at any exhibition. At the same time, he must be willing to buy something. The goal of the supplier is to establish itself and establish or strengthen business contacts with potential intermediaries. If you are organizing an event in a store, then he also has his own interest. The seller wants to expand the circle of buyers, even if they are primarily interested in a specific product.
Step 2
Find out how many honey producers in your region and what varieties of this product they have. It is very good if one of them wants to sell other beekeeping products - bee bread, propolis, royal jelly, etc. You can also negotiate with booksellers if they have literature on beekeeping.
Step 3
Consider if there is an opportunity to attract honey producers from other regions. For a small sales exhibition in a store or club, this is not necessary. But if the event is held within the framework of an agricultural conference or during a big holiday - why not do it? However, in this case, you need to take care of the accommodation of the participants in advance.
Step 4
Name the event. The title should reflect what exactly the visitor can see and buy at the trade fair. If you invite beekeepers only from your region, the exhibition may be called "Moscow Region Honey" or "Altai Honey". If other beekeeping products will be presented there - specify the name.
Step 5
Consider product placement. The buyer should see it well and be able to try it. If you are running a honey trade fair at a grocery store, it should not interfere with the rest of the buyers. Showcases filled with honey cans, where the usual products have always been lying, not only will not attract attention, but can turn away the regular customers of the outlet. It is better to allocate a separate place for the honey exhibition and sale.
Step 6
Set up at least one table with several open honey jars, as well as several shelves. Try to present packaged honey in jars and in bulk. Other beekeeping products and literature may be displayed on separate tables.
Step 7
Take care of disposable spoons or chopsticks. The honey supplier usually has them, but it is better to stock up. The visitor should be able to taste the product he likes. Stocking up on plastic containers won't hurt either.
Step 8
Organize an advertising campaign. It may not be very loud, but potential visitors should in any case find out where and when the trade fair will be and what can be bought there. Advertise in local newspapers, television, and city forums. You can make posters. Write on them the name, time and date of the exhibition-sale, approximate assortment. Print or order flyers and ask permission to put them on shelves at nearby retail outlets.
