The name of the company is not separately registered. The company is registered under the name. Step 1
Check the company name. It should not contain foreign words or symbols in the form of "inclusions". This is provided for in paragraph 1 of Art. 4 of the Federal Law "On Limited Liability Companies". However, it is allowed to have a name completely in a foreign language, but in one. If you need that in "Full name" the enterprise had a foreign word, think of two names - in Russian and in a foreign language.
Step 2
If the name of the company contains the word "Russia" and words of the same root, pay, in addition to the state duty, an additional amount for the right to use them. After that, it will be necessary to apply with an application to a special Interdepartmental Commission, which includes the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Health and Social Development, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Economic Development, and the Federal Antimonopoly Service. After the permission of the commission, the Ministry of Justice will submit to the Government of the Russian Federation a draft order on giving consent to the use of the “Russian” name of the company. If the Government refuses you, the money will not be returned to you. Do not use the names of Russian cities, regions and federal formations in the name of the company. This also requires the permission of the mayor's office. It is possible to register a company with this name, but the same mayor's office can sue you.
Step 3
Tax authorities really do not like names that duplicate the names of government agencies. For example, LLC "Minfin". Do not create problems for yourself. It is allowed to name your company "after" an existing one. Your enterprises will differ by the Main State Registration Number (OGRN), TIN, etc. However, you will not be allowed to use the brand name without its consent.
Step 4
Prepare the charter of the company, the memorandum of association, the decision to create a legal entity, write an application for registration of the company with the name of your choice, pay the state fee and submit the documents for registration to the Tax Office at the place of your permanent residence.
