So you've made the decision to become a sole proprietor and make your living by driving your car. To do this, you need to go through the authorities and draw up the necessary documents.
Instructions
Step 1
Contact the tax office at the place of registration with a request to register you as an individual entrepreneur. Take your passport and copies of all completed passport sheets made in advance. The tax office will ask you to fill out an application for registering an individual as an individual entrepreneur and will issue a receipt for payment of the state registration fee. Fill out the application in accordance with the requirements, pay the state duty at the cash desk of any Sberbank branch, hand over the application and the receipt of payment to the inspector. State registration will take 5 business days.
Step 2
Receive the following documents from the tax office on the appointed day:
- certificate of state registration as an individual entrepreneur;
- an extract from the state register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs;
- notification of registration of an individual with the tax authority at the place of residence.
Check with your tax inspector what taxes, when and how much you will pay, what documents you will need to complete (and you will pay a single tax on imputed income, transport tax, pension contributions). The Pension Fund will register you as an policyholder upon notification from the tax office, so there is basically no need to go there, a notice of registration as an policyholder will be sent to you by mail.
Open your bank account (as required by the tax authorities). Order a seal (not necessary, but better done)
Step 3
Get a taxi license. The license is issued in the authorized executive body, in each region it is different. Call the receptionist of the administration of your region, specify where exactly the taxi licenses are issued in your region. Call there, specify the required list of documents for obtaining a license, conditions for obtaining a license and the amount of state duty.
Step 4
Review the conditions for obtaining a license. A prerequisite for obtaining a taxi license is that you have a driving experience of at least 5 years, the car must be in your possession or leased, and a state technical inspection must be passed. Equip the vehicle accordingly. Purchase and install a taximeter and an orange lantern on the roof of the car, put "checkers" on the sides of the car.
Step 5
Apply for a license to the appropriate organization. Attach the required documents to the application (copies of your passport, extracts from the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs, TIN, vehicle registration certificate or lease agreement). The license is issued within 30 calendar days. Get your license on the appointed day and get started.
