First, understand the difference between a bank card number and a card account number. The card number is public, since it is usually located on the front of the card. Consider the front of your bank card. On it you will see a sixteen-digit number. It can be divided into four groups of numbers (four in each group) or two groups of eight numbers. When using the card, please note that after the card expires or is lost, the card number changes, after which the newly issued card is attached to the old bank account. Therefore, enter the changed data into your notebook, deleting the old number.

To find out your card number, card account number and other details of your card, contact the bank office where the card was issued. This may be necessary in case of loss of the card or, if necessary, transfer funds to it.

Come to the bank's office and present your card, and in case of its absence, your passport. Ask to print the details for transferring money to the account.

You can also do without going to the bank in person. To do this, send a request to receive bank card details to the e-mail of the bank branch located in your region. In the message, indicate your installation data and the number of the department where the card was opened.

Take advantage of the hotline capabilities of large banks, for example, Sberbank. Call the phone number indicated on the bank's website and ask for the details of your card, including its number and account number. In this case, you will be required to name the code word that was indicated when the card was issued.
