Many have heard about "black" and "white" salaries, but not everyone understands the difference. Sometimes such information is simply necessary - for example, when applying for a new job, the head of which offers to give out part of the salary "in an envelope".

At the enterprise, the employer, when hiring a new employee, may offer not to apply for a job or to issue it with some nuances. At the same time, the employee will be able to receive the so-called black salary, which is often quite good in terms of amount. But, accepting this proposal, the employee must understand that many problems await him in the future.

"Black" wages are offered to employees for the reason that employers are obliged to pay various contributions from the official amounts of payments - to the pension fund, for example, as well as make contributions to insurance. To reduce these amounts, employers register workers for wages that are much lower than what they will actually receive. There are also such options when the contract is not concluded in writing at all, and all definitions regarding conditions and payment are made orally.

Those who agree to this form of payment need to understand that socially they lose a lot. So, for example, the size of the future pension will directly depend on the deductions made to the pension fund. Sometimes a "gray" salary is offered - while the employee is employed under a contract, but the salary in it is less than what he will actually receive. The lower the amount of the official salary, the lower the deductions. Also, all benefits related to pregnancy, childbirth, parental leave will be calculated on the basis of the "white" part of the salary.

If the company refuses to pay the money due to the employee, he will not be able to get it either through the courts or through the FSS - legally, everything will be formalized correctly. At the same time, the employer does not bear any responsibility to the employee - in the contract all points are stipulated very clearly, the employee signed it, which means that he agreed with the proposed working conditions and the promised payment.

If the salary is completely “black”, it further undermines the rights of the worker. With an unofficial job, neither a salary certificate, nor a certificate in the 2-NDFL form can be obtained. Serious banks either refuse such borrowers at the stage of initial consultation, or provide a loan, but at very high interest rates.

Step 6

In this case, not being legally an employee of the company, the employee is not able to force the employer to comply with all the provisions prescribed in the Labor Code. An employee may not be allowed to go on vacation, not pay vacation pay, sick leave, compensation in case of dismissal is out of the question.
