Step 2
As soon as a bank is interested in your proposal, wait for a form from it, according to which it will be necessary to draw up a justification for opening a branch. Methodological recommendations for the preparation of this document, as a rule, include information about the economic and geographical indicators of the region, the political situation, analysis of the banking sector. In addition, you will have to suggest a potential client base, a possible location for the branch, and also include details about the prospective leader.
Step 3
If the justification you have drawn up satisfies the management of the parent bank, then feel free to start developing a business plan, as well as a financial work plan for the near future. At the same time, the main issue that, as a rule, interests the management is the region's possibilities to raise funds to form the liabilities of the bank's branch.
Step 4
After the head bank makes a decision to open a branch, the management must send a notification to the Central Bank Head Office at the place of its location and at the location of the future branch. Attached to it are the regulations on the branch, questionnaires of candidates for managerial positions, a payment document confirming the payment of the fee for opening a division.
Step 5
The territorial office of the Bank of Russia at the place of opening of the branch shall, within 2 weeks, consider the submitted documents, agree on the candidates for the heads and the chief accountant of the branch, and give an opinion on the suitability of the premises. A bank branch has the right to start working from the moment of making an entry about it in the Book of State Registration of Credit Institutions and assigning a serial number to it.
