Instructions

Step 1

Special requirements apply to everything, starting with the premises where you will trade. Its size must be at least 50 sq. meters; the premises must meet the standards of sanitary-epidemiological and fire inspections. Also, the premises should not be located closer than 100 meters from kindergartens, schools, hospitals and clinics. If the premises are not in your ownership, you need a lease agreement concluded for the same period for which the license is issued. If the contract is executed for more than a year, it must be registered.

Step 2

Licenses for the sale of alcohol are not issued to individual entrepreneurs - registration of LLC or CJSC is required. The size of the authorized capital of your company must be at least 300 thousand rubles, if the company is included in the register of small businesses, and at least 1 million rubles for all other organizations. Public catering enterprises are not limited in terms of their authorized capital.

Step 3

There must be a registered cash register at the point of sale. If you have several points, then a certified copy of the license must be in each of them. If you plan to sell alcohol in another region, your license will be valid only if the regional authorities have entered into a special agreement; if it is not there, then you will have to obtain a license on the territory of another region - the one already received will be invalid there.

Step 4

A permitting document is issued by regional licensing agencies on the basis of an application from the head and provided according to a certain list of documents. Documents are considered within 30 days. Don't forget to pay license fees.

Step 5

The license is issued for a specified period, after which it can be extended - also upon application and with the provision of documents. Do not forget to apply for renewal at least one month before its expiration date.

Step 6

In addition to the mandatory check before obtaining a license, the check of your outlets will be carried out annually. If the controllers discover violations, the license validity period may be suspended for no more than 6 months. The license is not renewed for the period of its suspension! If you carry out trade with violations or without a license at all, you, as a manager, face civil, administrative or even criminal liability.
