For those born after 1967, the future pension is divided into two parts: basic and funded. According to Russian legislation, Russians can dispose of the funded part themselves. There are several options, of which, if you want to increase your future pension, you need to choose the most suitable one.
Instructions
Step 1
You can participate in the government co-financing program. To do this, you need to transfer from two to 12 thousand rubles a year towards your future pension. The state, in turn, gives an obligation to double this amount. For details on co-financing, call the toll-free federal phone 8-800-505-5555, or at the local branch of the Pension Fund of Russia.
Step 2
The funded part of the pension can be entrusted to the Pension Fund, or rather, to one of the management companies that has a valid agreement with the Pension Fund. To do this, you need to come to the local branch of the FIU and write a statement.
Step 3
You have the right to donate your pension savings to any of the non-state pension funds. You can find out about the interest rate on your future pension from NPF consultants, and find a list of them on the website of the Federal Service for Financial Markets of Russia.
