Step 1
To purchase a license to sell alcoholic beverages, you need to collect a significant package of documents. The list can be obtained from the licensing authorities. Since 2011, on the territory of Kazakhstan, the tax authorities have been engaged in licensing activities for the retail sale and wholesale storage of alcoholic beverages.
Step 2
If you are going to be engaged in wholesale and storage, contact the Tax Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. To sell alcoholic products through retail outlets, you can get a license in the departments of the cities of Almaty, Astana or directly in the regions where you are going to sell alcoholic products.
Step 3
To get started, write an application for a license to the appropriate department. Be sure to attach copies of all constituent documents, as well as certificates of registration and registration with the tax authority.
Step 4
Please note that according to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Administrative Offenses", in the absence of registration with tax authorities, legal entities and individuals face administrative liability. The amount of the fine for individual entrepreneurs is 10 monthly calculation indices; for legal entities that are representatives of small or medium-sized businesses - 45 MCI; for representatives of large business - 75 MCI.
Step 5
The place of trade in alcoholic beverages must comply with sanitary and epidemiological standards, about which it is necessary to take an opinion from the SES. Remember that, in accordance with the Licensing Law, the sale of alcoholic products can be carried out at points located within a radius of more than one hundred meters from children's educational institutions.
Step 6
Call a fire safety specialist who must make an opinion on compliance with the relevant regulations.
Step 7
Take care of the lease or title deed for the premises in which the alcoholic beverages will be sold.
Step 8
Licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan are issued by tax authorities within 30 working days from the date of submission of the application and the package of documents. Representatives of small businesses receive licenses no later than 10 days from the date of filing an application with the tax office.
