If you are a holder of a plastic card with funds, you need to be very careful with this bank product. Due to its small size, the card can be lost by you or stolen by fraudsters. To avoid situations in which third parties can use your funds on the card, you need to call the bank's information service. This number should be in your contact list. When communicating with a bank employee by phone, you should introduce yourself and name the reason for the call - blocking your card. After that, the operator will tell you the amount of funds on the card and offer you to come within 3 days to the bank branch with a passport to apply for a card reissue.
Step 2
If you are the owner of a Sberbank card and you have the Mobile Payment service activated, you can block the card by sending an SMS to 900 with the BLOKIROVKA combination, with the last five digits of your card and the number of the blocking reason (0 - the card is lost, 1 - the card is stolen, 2 - the card was left at the ATM). After that, within 5 minutes, you need to send an SMS message with the code that you received in response.
Step 3
If you, through negligence or inattention, entered the PIN code incorrectly three times, the card will be blocked automatically. In such a situation, you need to contact the nearest bank branch and write a corresponding application for unlocking. If you have a Sberbank plastic card, then if the PIN is entered incorrectly three times, the card can be used after 24 hours.
Step 4
The bank can block your card at its discretion if you do not comply with the terms of the loan agreement. In particular, if you repeatedly miss the payment of the minimum payment or you have an overdue debt of up to 90 days.
