The current legislation of the Russian Federation does not require a company or an entrepreneur to register the seal. There are also no formalities in the event of its replacement. But a visit to the bank, where the organization or individual entrepreneur has a current account, cannot be avoided. The card with samples of signatures of representatives of the company (or individual entrepreneur) and the new seal will have to be re-certified.
It is necessary
- - PSRN, INN, KPP (if any), the name of the company or individual entrepreneur;
- - designer services (not in all cases);
- - services for the production of a new seal;
- - services for the disposal of old printing (you can do it yourself);
- - notary services (optional);
- - service of the bank to certify a new card with samples of signature and seal;
- - money to pay for all the listed services.
Instructions
Step 1
The order of your actions depends on the reason why you are changing the seal. OGRN, TIN and in the presence of a checkpoint of an organization or an entrepreneur usually do not change throughout the entire activity. And all this information, as well as the name of the enterprise or individual entrepreneur, must be on the official seal. However, the reason may be the need for a more solid and, accordingly, expensive printing, or with more degrees of protection. In such cases, you need to start by contacting a company that provides services for the production of seals, voice your wishes and pay for the work.
Step 2
Often the reason for replacing a seal may be the need to place your logo on it (or a new one instead of the old one when replacing it). In this situation, you need to discuss with the print manufacturer their image specifications and provide a logo according to them. If you are unable to do this yourself, contact the seal manufacturer directly for assistance. In many of them they are able to help you, and in some they may even instruct designers to make a logo from scratch if you do not already have one. These services are usually provided for a fee.
Step 3
Making a seal takes several days, usually no more than a week. After the expiration of the agreed period, you need to pick up a new seal. It is also possible to deliver it to your office or to another address by courier, usually for a separate fee. If you did not make an advance payment, the money for the service rendered must be transferred in exchange for the finished seal. Most often, both cash and non-cash payments are possible. Do not forget to also obtain the necessary supporting documents from the seal manufacturer, if these accounting costs are relevant for your taxation system.
Step 4
With a ready-made seal, you need to visit the bank branch where you have a current account (if there are several accounts, each bank where there is one) in order to certify a new card with samples of the seal and signatures of the director and chief accountant of your company. The procedure is completely the same as when opening an account: the director and accountant, if available, must show the operator's passports and sign the card, and a new seal is put there. The service is paid according to the rates of the bank. You can certify the card with a notary and take it to the bank, but this is usually more expensive.
Step 5
Remember to dispose of the old seal after completing all necessary procedures. It is better not to delay this in order to avoid confusion (or at least not to store the new and old seals next to each other, while both are in inaccessible places for outsiders). You can dispose of the seal on your own or, which is more reliable and easier, although it costs money, contact to an organization providing such services.
