If your credit card has been stolen, or you have lost it, then it is imperative to complete the blocking procedure, which will not allow other people to access the funds. Sberbank of Russia allows its customers to block the card in several ways.
It is necessary

- - identification code;
- - passport;
- - application for the restoration of a lost credit card.

Be prepared to be asked to verify your identity over the phone. To facilitate this procedure, you can register a voice code with the bank, by calling which you can easily manage your credit card through the operator.
Step 2
Visit the nearest branch of "Sberbank" to settle the issue with the card. Take your identification code and passport with you. Contact a bank employee and inform that you want to block the card. Fill out an application for recovering a lost credit card and gaining access to funds in your account. The blocking procedure will be completed as soon as possible, and you will also be informed when you can get a new card.
Step 3
Use the "Mobile Bank" service to block your card. It is advisable to connect this service immediately after receiving a credit card. It allows you to manage funds and access to them through a phone or computer. You can activate Mobile Banking through a self-service ATM or by calling the customer support service. To block it, just go to the "Personal Account" and select the appropriate function.
Step 4
Block the Sberbank card by sending an SMS message. Remember that this method is provided only to those who have activated the Mobile Banking service. Type the text message "BLOKIROVKA xxxxx y", in which "xxxxx" stands for the last five digits of your lost card, and "y" is a code that explains the reason for blocking. If you lost it, then put “0”, if you left it at the ATM, then “2”, and if it was stolen from you, then “1”. Send an SMS message to number 900. Receive a confirmation code, which must be sent back within 5 minutes.
