Instructions
Step 1
Call the VTB24 Bank Customer Service Center at 8-800-100-24-24. To do this, enter the phone number in your contacts in advance. You may need it at the most unexpected moment. The call within Russia is free. The center works around the clock.
Step 2
Tell the operator the reason for your call, give your last name, first name and patronymic, it is desirable that you give the number of the lost bank card and its expiration date. It will not be superfluous to store this information in your phone or in a notebook.
Step 3
The card will be blocked immediately after the call. And as soon as the operator informs about this, specify his details (surname and first name). Write them down, including the date and time of the call.
Step 4
If you do not have the phone number of the Bank's Customer Service Center with you, call any available bank number. Or call the information desk, where they will tell you the numbers. Try to always have the necessary data with you, especially if you store significant amounts of money on the card.
Step 5
If you are abroad and cannot contact the bank service to block the card, contact the Russian consulate.
Step 6
As soon as you are within the reach of the nearest VTB24 bank branch, apply there with a written statement confirming the blocking of the card. Later you will be able to apply for the card restoration (if it was not found) or for its unblocking. In addition, you can personally withdraw the money remaining on the card at the bank.
