It is very convenient to use bank cards, but if you lose your card, you can lose money as well. It doesn't matter if you stole your card, you yourself, out of absentmindedness, lost it somewhere or it was "swallowed" by an ATM - all responsibility for the fate of your money lies with you. At least until you block the card by any of the available methods. Fortunately, the clients of the Savings Bank of Russia have several of them.

- - user ID and password for entering Sberbank-OnL @ yn;
- - computer or communicator;
- - internet connection.
Instructions
Step 1
Call the Help Desk for clients-holders of international cards by phones: 8 (495) 500 00 05; 8 (495) 788 92 72; 8 800 200 3 747 (the number is not available in all regions of Russia). the machine is in tone dialing mode. If your phone does not support this mode, wait for a response from a free operator.
Step 2
When communicating with the operator, be prepared to name the code word that you set when you received the card. To work with the automatic assistance system, you need a digital code sequence, which is calculated by the code word. If you have forgotten the code word, apply with the appropriate application to the branch of Sberbank where you received the card.
Step 3
Please note that by calling the Helpdesk you can not only report the loss of your card, but also check your account balance, clarify the last 10 transactions with your account, and get advice on further actions. If you could not get through these numbers, call additional: 8 (495) 544 45 45; 8 (495) 788 92 77. These numbers only accept messages about the loss of the card, inquiries and consultations are not provided.
Step 4
Apply within three days to the branch of the bank with a written statement about blocking the card. If you cannot visit the bank in person, send your application by fax to 8 (495) 747 3 888 or by e-mail to [email protected]. In the message, be sure to include your full name, card number, Sberbank division where you received it, as well as your contact phone number.
Step 5
Block your card through Mobile Banking. To do this, send an SMS message to number 900 from a phone registered in the system, consisting of the word "Blocking" (Blokirovka, Block), the last 4 digits of the card number and the blocking code: 0 - the card is lost; 1 - the card is stolen; 2 - the card remains in the ATM; 3 - other. Symbols in SMS can be separated by a space, a hyphen, a period and a pound. For example, if the card with the last digits of the 0645 number remains in the ATM, the SMS may look like this: Block # 0645 # 2.
Step 6
Wait for a reply SMS from the system, which will indicate the code to confirm the card blocking. This code must be sent to number 900 within 5 minutes. Only then will your card be blocked. If you receive an error message, send the SMS again. If re-sending did not help, call the above numbers.
Step 7
Use the Sberbank-OnL @ yn service to block the card (if you remember your user ID and password). Log in, select the desired card and click the appropriate button or link.
