You can find out the status of a bank card account in several ways. Any client can check the balance through an ATM of their own or a third-party bank, a visit to a credit organization or a call to its call center. If Internet or mobile banking is connected to the card account, verification is also possible through these systems.

Instructions
Step 1
Checking the account balance at an ATM is available in these devices and the bank that issued the card, and any other. However, in the second case, a commission may be charged. It depends on the tariff policy of both credit institutions: the one that issued the card and which owns the ATM.
Insert the card into the device, enter the PIN-code and select the option of checking the account on the screen (the names may be different, but the meaning is the same).
After the necessary information is printed on the receipt or displayed on the screen (the choice of options depends on the specific ATM), if you wish, you can continue to work or pick up the card. Less often, the ATM returns it to you, after which you will have to insert it and enter the code again to continue working.
Step 2
To check the account at the bank branch, give the operator your passport and card and say that you would like to know how much money is on the account.
In many banks, this service is available at any branch throughout Russia. But in some - not in everyone: in the place where the card was issued, in the nearest to it, or only in the region in which this banking product is issued.
Step 3
The bank's call center phone number is indicated on the back of the card. Call it, if necessary, log in to the system (usually by entering the card number and password). Following the prompts of the autoinformer, select the section for bank clients, then - account information and the option that allows you to find out the available account balance.
If this option is not provided (which, however, is unlikely), select the option to call the operator and tell him about your desire to find out the account balance.
Step 4
If you have Internet banking connected to your card account, log in to the system. If necessary, go to the section with information about the balance of your accounts (it often opens after a successful login, but not always).
Step 5
If you use mobile banking, you can call the call center on a short mobile number or send a request for account balance via SMS. All the information you need to do this is in the instructions given to you when you connect to the system. It is usually posted on the bank's website.
