Plastic bank cards are a convenient form of cashless payments. Many enterprises in the country are already using them to calculate the salaries of their employees. Sberbank of Russia is the largest issuer, plastic cards of which are used by tens of millions of people.
Instructions
Step 1
Before activating the Sberbank card, open the sealed envelope in which it is located. The documents attached to it contain the personal identification number (PIN-code) of your card, without knowing which it will be impossible to withdraw funds from it through an ATM or terminal. You will need this code when paying for goods and services in various shopping and service centers.
Step 2
Examine the map carefully. Make sure that your name and surname, indicated on the front side in Latin letters, are spelled correctly. The sixteen-digit card number and the logo of the payment system must be indicated on the same side.
Step 3
Turn the card over to the other side and put your signature in the specially designed field. Sberbank promises that your card will be activated automatically the next day after you sign for its receipt.
Step 4
To make sure that your card is activated, take any action with it using the nearest ATM. For example, request information about the balance of funds on the card account - its balance. Insert the card into the card slot and press the keys, confirming the options for actions with the card, which will be displayed on the monitor screen.
