Modern life in large cities makes the use of a plastic card more relevant, safe and convenient in comparison with cash. When making a large number of purchases, you should always keep track of your expenses so as not to go bankrupt.
Instructions
Step 1
The first way to check the balance of a Visa card and a number of other cards, for example, MasterCard, is to use an ATM. In this case, it would be best to use the "native" ATM, ie. bank ATM. Otherwise, even for such an operation as checking an account, an ATM of a third-party bank may charge a commission without informing the cardholder. Once you have found your bank's ATM, insert the card into the card reader. Hold the card so that the VISA symbol is under the thumb of your right hand. In this case, in another way, the card simply will not fit into a special hole.
Step 2
After loading the card into the card capture reader, you must enter the secret pin-code. It usually consists of 4 numbers, which you must know by heart. It is highly discouraged to keep the code with the card, and even more so never write the pin code on the card itself.
Step 3
After entering the pin code, select the function offered on the screen. It is usually called Balance Check or Account Balance. Information about the state of the card account will appear on the screen. Some ATMs display a check, which also displays the account balance.
Step 4
The second way to check the balance of a bank card is Internet banking. This service is provided by many banks and allows you to view information about the client's account via the Internet. Internet banking is rarely automatically connected - usually you need to contact the bank, the cardholder of which you are, to do this. Or you will need to apply for a new card, in which the Internet banking option is already installed by default.
Step 5
To view information about the balance of funds on the card, you need to find the section "Internet banking" or "Internet bank" on the bank's website and enter the card number, as well as the secret pin code (sometimes a special pin-2 issued by the bank when this service is connected). The connection is made through special encryption, via the HTTPS protocol, so the data about the card number and its pin code will not get anywhere.
