Step 1
If your card is lost or stolen, first of all, block it. To do this, call the call center of your bank. His phone number is posted on the bank's website and in its promotional materials. Be prepared to tell the operator your name and passport details, as well as the code word, if it has been assigned to you. At the same time, keep in mind that the PIN code cannot be disclosed to unauthorized persons, including bank employees. If the card has received mechanical damage, but remains with you, it can be deliberately not blocked, since it is not available to fraudsters.
Step 2
Come to the bank branch with your passport to get a new card. This must be done even if the old card is in order, but its expiration date. Write an application for card reissue. Please indicate the reason for ordering a new card. This is necessary, for example, if the card has been stolen and there is a risk that an intruder will use it. Please note that, most likely, after the payment instrument is restored, the bank will deduct the commission provided for such a case from your account. Usually the amount does not exceed two hundred to three hundred rubles. Some banks do without such fees.
Step 3
After the agreed time, you will receive a card made anew for you. If this is a personalized card, then its registration can take from several days to several weeks. For the convenience of using the account, you may be assigned an unnamed card until your main card is ready.
