The first thing a person needs to do who wants to make money from their photographs is to get a good camera. It should be noted right away that the device for shooting must be really "serious" - not some kind of digital "soap box", but a real "DSLR", preferably not lower than the class of the cult Nikon D5100.
The second thing you need in order to organize your business selling photographic materials is actually to be able to shoot. In order to make such personnel, for which they will pay, high-quality equipment alone, alas, is not enough. You must always be in search of your best shot, be able to think big and constantly improve your skills, never stopping there. In this case, you should not hope for a successfully caught random frame - you have to be at least a little artist in your soul and understand the theory of photography.

Now on the network there are many sites called photobanks, which are always ready to cooperate with really talented photographers. In fact, these sites are not directly involved in the purchase of photographs, their task is to provide a wide selection of images for real buyers: site owners, Internet and print media, just lovers of a good shot.
In other words, photo banks are nothing more than online trading platforms. They earn their "penny" in the form of commissions, which they receive from the sale of an image of a particular photographer. I must say that becoming a member of the system and getting the right to place your work on one of these trading platforms is not as easy as we would like. There is a whole system of special tests and exams that everyone who wants to try themselves as a professional photographer should be ready for.
