It often happens that shareholders do not remember or do not know exactly how many shares they have and what they are. This information can be restored not only at the office of the joint stock company, but also through the registrar company.
Instructions
Step 1
Contact the office or representative office of the company in which you are the shareholder. Show your passport. If during the time you were a shareholder, your passport data has changed, provide documents confirming the eligibility of such changes (for example, a marriage certificate). Do not try to call the company in order to find out the information you are interested in. Such information is not provided by telephone.
Step 2
Many enterprises do not keep records of their shareholders on their own and delegate these functions to registrar companies. Therefore, you should not send written requests, since at best you will only be prompted where to contact; and at worst, they will simply ignore your appeal.
Step 3
Find out who maintains the register of shareholders of this company. This can be easily found on the Internet through any search resource. Or visit the page https://pokupka-cb.ru/obschee/ofitsialnie-sayti-registratorov, which contains links to the official websites of the largest Russian registrar companies, such as the Interregional Registrar Center
Step 4
Follow each of the links and find in one of the lists the name of the CJSC or OJSC, of which you are a shareholder. Check out the list of documents required for the registrar company to respond to your request. Usually this:
- a correctly completed application form for an individual (the application form can be found on the website of the registrar company);
- copy of passport (all pages, including blank ones)
- order to issue the necessary information from the register (the form can be found on the website of the registrar company).
Step 5
Contact a notary to certify all documents, and only then send them by letter with a notification to the registrar's address.
