If the bill has split into two parts, there is no reason to be upset. First, it most likely has not lost its legal solvency. Secondly, it can be glued, moreover, in such a way that the place of gluing will be almost invisible.
Instructions
Step 1
Be sure to make sure that the bill is split into two parts, and not, say, three. If the total area of all the remaining parts of the banknote is less than 50 percent, or if none of them has a number and series, you will have to put up with the loss of the banknote's solvency.
Step 2
If there are all parts of a bill with a total area of more than 50 percent and at least one number, but they are very small, it is better not to glue the bill, but to exchange it at the bank.
Step 3
If the banknote is guaranteed to split into two parts, then it all depends on which one is lost. If there is no smaller part, but there is a large one, then you are in luck - the bank will exchange the bill for a new one. The smaller part, even if it is found later, and has a number on it, has no solvency.
Step 4
If both parts of the bill are preserved, proceed to gluing them. Take a stationery glue stick. No other adhesives, even if they are also stationery, including PVA and silicate, can not be used. The same applies to any kind of adhesive tape - the seam will be very noticeable, and if you try to peel off the tape, you can damage the bill to such an extent that it loses its solvency.
Step 5
Picking up one half of the banknote. Apply glue to the torn edge on both sides. Do the same with the other half.
Step 6
Press them together so that the image is completely aligned both horizontally and vertically. Place the glued bill between two sheets of paper, then apply pressure to the seam for a few seconds.
Step 7
Carefully so as not to split the bill again, remove both sheets of paper from the seam.
Step 8
Run the glue stick along the seam, first on one side, then on the other.
Step 9
Place the bill vertically so that the seam does not touch anything, and let the glue dry. If the banknote is large, dry it in the safe.
Step 10
Do not put the stuck together bill into the payment machine. There it can disintegrate and ruin the bill acceptor.
