There are several ways to get money out of it without breaking it. One of them is to use tweezers with sharply sharpened tips, as well as a piece of copper wire with a cross section of 2-3 millimeters, without insulation. Bend one end of the wire to an angle of about 45 degrees. Turn the piggy bank upside down, insert the wire hook into it, and pick up the bill. Then pull it closer to the coin slot. When the bill is visible, set the wire aside and take the tweezers. Pick up the bill with tweezers and pull it out carefully so as not to tear. This method, as you already understood, is convenient to use to extract paper money from a piggy bank, but not metal coins.

You can get coins out of the piggy bank if you get some flat and thin object, for example, a metal ruler, a knife, a nail file, and so on. In order to empty the piggy bank in this way, turn it over, insert the selected flat and long object into the slot and pick up the coin - it will quickly and easily slide down. Of course, pulling out one coin at a time in this way is a long and tedious task. However, your piggy bank will remain safe and sound.

There is also another way - just shake the piggy bank. Coins will eventually fall out of it one by one. However, this is also a tedious task, especially if there is paper money in the piggy bank. They will simply prevent the coins from falling out of the slot.

By the way, you can save yourself and your child the hassle by buying a piggy bank that you can open and seal again. Typically, a hole large enough to pull out all coins and bills is located at the bottom of the piggy bank. It can be sealed with plain paper, a sticker, or some kind of plug. After you get all the money out of the piggy bank, you can give it to your child so that he can spend it on his own needs. And seal the hole and put the piggy bank in place.
