An insurance premium is called a payment (single or periodically repeated) that the payer is obliged to make in favor of the insurer. The payment forms the material base for protection against property and other risks.
Instructions
Step 1
The insurance premium is paid by the payer on the basis of a previously drawn up insurance contract. In addition to the rights and obligations of both parties, it must contain the amount and procedure for making the payment (one-time, monthly, quarterly, once every six months or a year). Examples of such contracts are health insurance, railroad, social insurance, etc.
Step 2
According to Russian legislation, insurance payments are made before the 15th day of the billing month. If this number falls on a weekend or a holiday, the first day following the holiday is automatically considered the last day. Failures in the internal system of the bank and the transfer of funds are not considered a good reason - for such a delay, penalties and fines are charged in the manner prescribed by law. If you need to pay premiums for several concluded insurance contracts, you will have to fill out separate forms in each case.
Step 3
There are several ways to pay insurance premiums. The first is through a bank transfer from your account to the account of the insurer. This is the most common way. To make a payment, you must fill out a payment receipt at a state bank branch. When filling it out, you must indicate in words the date of payment, the amount of the contribution up to kopecks, your TIN number and the same data about the recipient, your full name and the name of the receiving organization, as well as the detailed coordinates of the paying bank and the receiving bank.
Step 4
You can also pay for insurance through payment terminals and at the Russian Post offices. At the post office, you can get a form to fill out, completely similar to a bank receipt. Do not forget to take a payment receipt from your cashier-operator, confirming the transfer of payment.
