The number of counterfeit banknotes has increased dramatically recently. You can come across a fake at any time. That is why you should inquire in advance about how to recognize a counterfeit among real money.
Instructions
Step 1
Dollars.
Feel the paper, it should feel rough and velvety to the touch. The dollars are printed on special paper, mainly made of cotton and linen. In addition, on real dollars there are special colored flecks-villi (1), located in different places of the banknote. The serial number on the old banknotes begins with the same letter that is found on the seal of the Federal Reserve Bank (from "A" to "L"), and on the new design banknotes the eagle is inscribed in the seal (2).
When tilted, on the obverse of the banknote, you can see how the green color of the number in the lower right corner turns to black, and then back to green. (3) The background of the portrait and the building on the back of the banknote consists of very thin lines. These lines should be clear and smooth (4). Inside the figure in the left corner in several rows there is a microtext "USA 100" (5). If you look at the bill in the light to the right of the portrait, you should see a watermark - another portrait (6). To the left of the portrait is a thin vertical strip placed inside the banknote. In ultraviolet light, it glows red (7).
Step 2
Euro.
The banknotes are printed on very thin paper with three-dimensional elements (1). When the banknote is turned, the figures with dignity change their color from purple to olive or brown, and on the reverse side you can see an iridescent sheen from the mother-of-pearl stripe (2). Also, when turned, the image changes to a hologram stamp (3). A watermark (4) and a protective strip on which the denomination of the banknote and the Euro symbol (5) can be seen can be seen. These elements should be visible both from the front and from the back.
Step 3
Rubles.
The relief of the text "Ticket of the Bank of Russia" (1) and marks for people with impaired vision (2) should be felt by touch. When the bill is tilted, the color of the coat of arms changes from crimson to golden green (3). The paper contains randomly colored fibers that glow in ultraviolet light. Two-color security fibers outwardly look purple, but when viewed through a magnifying glass, they show an alternation of red and blue areas (4). A metallized plastic strip, which looks like a shiny dotted line, is introduced into the paper. (5) Watermarks are visible through the gap: digital designation of the denomination (6) and the portrait of Yaroslav the Wise (7). You can see that the denomination of the bill is formed by micro-holes that look like bright dots (8). When the banknote is tilted, multi-colored stripes appear on the field (9). If you place the banknote under the sharp one, then on the tape you can see the light letters "PP" on a dark background (10). If the banknote is rotated 90 °, then the image of the letters becomes dark against a light background.
