The bank card is issued in such a way that the pin code is transmitted to the owner in a closed envelope along with the card itself. Except for the person who owns the card, no one knows the pin code. It is not stored in any of the bank's databases and is not known to any employee. If you have lost or forgotten your PIN code, the first thing to do is call your bank's customer support service. Since the pin code was not known to anyone except the owner, it is impossible to recover it. If it is completely lost, then the card can only be reissued, there is no other way to regain control over it. Different banks carry out the re-issue of the card at different times, one bank will do it within an hour, another will take a week or even 10 days.
Step 3
Before deciding to reissue the card, try to remember where you keep the envelope with the pin code, if you did not destroy it upon receipt of the card, as all banks advise to do. Many cardholders save the pin-code paper and put it in the same place where they keep all their documents. Try to look for a pin-envelope, you may not have to reissue the card.
Step 4
In the event that the pin code is completely lost, you cannot remember it, but there is no pin envelope or it was destroyed when receiving the card, you will have to reissue it. To do this, you need to go to the bank branch and write a statement.

After a while, the card can be collected. The bank can take a commission for the reissue, or it can do it for free - it depends on the terms of service in each individual bank.
