It is necessary

  • - passport;
  • - pensioner's ID;
  • - veteran certificate;
  • - certificate of family composition;
  • - SNILS;
  • - details of your account for transferring money;
  • - Form No. 9;
  • - other documents.

Instructions

Step 1

To become a Labor Veteran, contact your local social welfare office or Multifunctional Service Center (MFC). Until January 2005, this title was awarded at the federal level. But after the release of Federal Law No. 122-FZ (on the monetization of benefits), these powers were transferred to the regional authorities. Thus, the constituent entities of the Russian Federation independently determine the conditions and procedure for conferring the title "Veteran of Labor". And they themselves appoint compensations and benefits, proceeding, as a rule, from their financial capabilities.

Step 2

Head to your local social welfare office or MFC. On a form of a certain form, write an application for monthly cash payments (MU), due to labor veterans. For example, the size of the EDV for this category of citizens in St. Petersburg in 2012 is 592 rubles.

Step 3

Here you can also apply for a discount for housing and communal services. Usually, the amount of this compensation is 50% of the total area of living quarters of a labor veteran (this benefit also applies to members of his family living with him) and 50% of the total amount of utilities (water supply, sanitation, heating, etc.) - within the established standards. With the received certificates, go to the organizations that provide services to your home (ZhKO, management company, etc.) to reduce housing and communal services.

Step 4

Do not forget to take the necessary package of documents with you: passport, pension and veteran certificates, certificate of family composition, SNILS, details of your account for transferring money, form No. 9 and photocopies of all these documents. For working pensioners, in addition, you need to take a certificate from the place of work that the contributions to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation have been made in full.
