Step 1
Register an individual entrepreneur or legal entity with the tax office. It is worth noting that until recently, in order to open a service station, a much more extensive package of documents was required. Either the state decided to finally meet small business halfway, not in words, but in deeds, or there are still so few car services on our Russian highways (given the state of some highways and the hope for a Russian "maybe") that red tape with paperwork can become fatal.
Step 2
Find a room for your future workshop. The best place is on the highway or near a city junction near a gas station and garage cooperative. But since all such places are probably already firmly occupied, it will be quite enough for at least one of these conditions to be met. The premises must already have a viewing hole or lift, otherwise you will have to enter into additional agreements with the landlord.
Step 3
Be sure to contact the sanitary and fire department to get positive conclusions about the condition of the room. Be prepared for the fact that, taking into account the specifics of your enterprise, the requirements will be quite stringent.
Step 4
Purchase all the necessary equipment, tools and supplies. Usually, car repair shops perform several of the most common types of work: tire fitting, minor engine repairs. Therefore, do not skimp on good imported equipment (preferably German or Italian) so that the whole range of work can be completed in the shortest possible time. Moreover, such work is seasonal, and reinstallation will cost you much more.
Step 5
Soberly assess your capabilities before installing a sign above the entrance (and entrance) to a car service. For the repair of many foreign cars, "native" computer stands will be required, which are available only to the official dealers of the companies. Therefore, it is better to start with the maintenance of domestic cars, so as not to harm either the car or your reputation.
Step 6
Set real prices for your services - then it is likely that you will soon have regular customers and you will quickly recoup all costs.
Step 7
Invite good specialists to work in your service. Conduct a theory and practice interview. However, in the auto business (especially local), such specialists are always in sight. If possible, offer them a higher salary, and fans of your business - a lot of good orders, which will certainly be if you did everything right before.
Step 8
Obtain all the necessary certificates of conformity for each type of work. To do this, you need to submit to the department of the Russian Certification Center: all statutory documents, a certificate of registration of an individual entrepreneur or LLC, an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, statistics codes, a lease agreement for premises, conclusions from the SES and the fire service and a list of equipment. After your application, specialists will be sent to you who will test the work of your car service and, in case of positive results, will give you all the necessary certificates.
