After registering an individual enterprise, a novice businessman will have to issue a new medical insurance policy. This must be done, since without this document you will not be assisted in any medical institution.
Instructions
Step 1
Contact your local compulsory health insurance fund. (TF OMS). Provide this organization with the original passport, TIN and certificate of registration of you as an entrepreneur. Copies of documents are optional, they can be removed on the spot.
Step 2
Conclude an agreement with the fund, having carefully read all the proposed conditions. Get a certificate of registration in the TF OMS, which will help you get a policy.
Step 3
Contact the insurance company that serves your territory (at the place of registration or actual residence). Take with you a passport, a certificate of pension insurance (SNILS) and a document received from the TF OMS. A copy of this document must be made in advance in order to give it to the employees of the insurance fund. Remember that in case of damage or loss of the policy, you will have to present this official paper again. In addition, this certificate and the policy itself will need to be reissued if you change your last name, first name or place of permanent registration. Get a compulsory medical insurance policy and register it at the city clinic.
Step 4
Conclude an agreement with the Social Insurance Fund - the social insurance fund and regularly transfer monetary contributions to its account in the future. This is done so that in case of illness, you can get paid sick leave. However, your disability certificate will only be paid if you paid the fund regularly for six months.
Step 5
Find out all the insurance conditions. Pregnancy is also considered insured by law, so if you conclude an agreement with the fund on time, you will be entitled to receive childcare benefits until the child reaches the age of one and a half years. Not everyone knows about this, and often pregnant women with the status of individual entrepreneurs are left without any state support.
