Instructions
Step 1
To obtain a medical policy for an unemployed person, you need to do the following: Apply with a written application to the territorial fund that carries out compulsory health insurance in the subject of the federation in which you permanently reside. The application is written to the executive director of the branch.
Step 2
Make copies of the following documents: - Passport. The cover pages of the passport are copied, as well as the page where the mark of the place of permanent residence is made.
- Employment history. All pages of the work book are copied, including the page that contains a record confirming dismissal from the last job. A copy must be certified by a notary.
- SNILS (card with the insurance number of an individual personal account), the so-called "plastic card". Both sides of the card are copied.
- A certificate issued by the employment center at the place of your permanent residence. Please note that this certificate is valid only for ten days from the date of issue.
- In the absence of a work book, you must provide permission from the district administration at your place of permanent residence to issue a health insurance policy.
