Taking a loan from a bank, repaying it with delays or not paying at all, and then applying for a loan from another bank and getting it - such a scheme was previously possible. Today, unscrupulous borrowers are instantly blacklisted by the bank. Yes, not just one. How is this possible and how can you check if your name is on this list?

Instructions

Step 1

Today, all banks, without exception, cooperate with the Bureau of Credit Histories (BCI). This is a database where more than 40 million dossiers are kept for almost every borrower who has applied for a loan to one of the banks at least once. Having access to the BKI database, the bank can receive information about a potential client in a couple of minutes and, on the basis of it, approve or reject an application for a loan. Thus, getting into the blacklist of at least one bank, you will almost certainly receive rejections when contacting other banks.

Step 2

To check your credit history, you need to know in which bank account it is stored. To do this, make a request to the Central Directory of Credit Histories. It is quite possible that your dossier is in several databases at once. Today, there are 31 credit bureaus operating in Russia. The largest of these is the National Bureau of Credit Histories.

Step 3

Contact the BKI you need. By law, every Russian has the right once a year to receive free information on the state of his credit history. A second call will cost from 200 to 500 rubles.

Step 4

A written request can be made by coming to the bureau with a passport or by sending a registered letter, indicating the full name and passport data. Please note that in the latter case, the information must be notarized.

Step 5

BKI is obliged to give you an answer within 2 weeks.
