But without competent advertising, even the most talented work remains unknown, and the advertised music is known to many, even if there is no deep meaning or novelty in it. The promotion of music is associated with informing the target audience, and therefore, individually for each musical direction.

Step 1
A universal way to promote music in any direction. Register your music project on social networks, forums and blogs as a community. Tell us about the style and members of the group. Lay out well-recorded tracks, in the content of which your author's idea will be visible. Remember: music, especially non-commercial music, is listened to if it is not like anything else.
Invite friends and family to these communities. Organize periodic contests with valuable prizes. A prerequisite for the competition must be the inclusion of a link to the community in the participant's personal blog.
Step 2
Register on sites dedicated to music in general and a specific style in particular: realmusic.ru, promodj.ru, musicforumc.ru, etc. Create pages of your team or project there, post the same information as in communities. But do not copy the same message from site to site: make small changes, rearrange phrases, replace with synonyms. Implement policies similar to communities.
Step 3
Contact the administration of an informal radio station broadcasting your style of music. They usually operate on a non-profit basis, so they won't offer you rotation money and most likely won't ask you to. Music for the radio should be recorded in studio quality, this will definitely have to be spent.

Sign up on video resources such as youtube as a musician. Upload videos of your performances or clips to your music. If possible, hire a professional director and screenwriter to shoot the video. If you do not have money for professionals, then you should know: a high-quality video can be removed for a very small amount or almost without investment. You still need good equipment (camera, computer for editing).

On all forums and sites where you go, report the resources where you have registered, promoting your music. First of all, invite your friends and relatives, and they will invite their friends. Update regularly across all communities and resources.
