For three days, the leaders of the modern economy and leading experts discussed the specifics of the Russian-European industrial and business partnership, ways to mitigate the consequences of the global economic crisis, tools to support Russian business.

Within the framework of the forum, a large-scale discussion was held for potential investors on the issues of Russian real estate. Issues related to commercial real estate, housing construction and important social facilities were considered. Experts and analysts have concluded that regional construction has the greatest prospects in Russia, requiring complex and mixed investments. Investors are showing increasing interest in Siberia and the Far East.

The speakers at the forum expressed the opinion that the implementation of large investment projects is often hampered by the lack of relevant legislation. In the near future, the state, together with business representatives, needs to determine the conditions for joint entry into projects and the procedure for their financing.

During the forum, more than 5,000 people took part in its sessions. The 2012 Forum became a record one in terms of the number of agreements signed: 84 contracts worth over 360 billion rubles. against 68 agreements worth 338 billion rubles signed last year. Most of the SPIEF 2012 participants noted with satisfaction that the current forum was extremely fruitful and useful.
