There are many legends about making money on the Internet, almost all of them are based on real facts, but often greatly exaggerated and distorted. If we leave aside all sorts of "freelance", when the computer acts simply as a tool of work, then more or less tangible income can be obtained by creating one or more of your own sites.
It is necessary
- - one or several moderately "promoted" sites with thematic content;
- - an account on the site of one or several contextual advertising systems at once;
- - registration on one or more link exchanges;
- - banners offering to place advertisements on your resource.
Instructions
Step 1
Create your own website using one of the "standard" engines like Joomla or WordPress - for this, choose a hosting provider, select one or another tariff that is convenient for you and register a domain name. The procedure for buying a hosting and domain name is detailed in the most detailed way on the websites of hosting providers, as a rule, providing their customers with good technical support. It is not difficult to install the engine software for your site on the hosting, if you follow the numerous step-by-step instructions that can be found on the Internet. After that, all that remains is to download the ready-made "theme" (website design model), add it to the engine, and the site that will help you make money on the Internet is ready.
Step 2
Try to "promote" your site as much as possible before trying to generate income from it. Many ways to make money on the site (selling links and an abundance of contextual advertising) can damage your project at the initial stage. Fill the site (whatever subject matter it may be) with content, wait for the indexing of a large number of pages on your site, and only then proceed to the so-called "monetization" - attempts to extract profit from your resource.
Step 3
Create an account in one of the contextual advertising systems and add your site there. Not all of these systems accept young sites with low traffic, but some will still allow you to add ads to the pages of the resource and get paid for each transition of a visitor from your site to the advertiser's site via a link. The main way to generate income in this way is to continuously try to increase the number of site visitors by adding new content and promoting the site in search engines.
Step 4
Wait until the indicators of your site increase as a result of complex promotion, and add your project to one or more exchanges that sell links to promote other sites. The amount of money earned for placing links directly depends on such indicators of your site as TC and PR, as well as on the total number of indexed pages on your site, on which these links can be placed.
Step 5
Add a banner to your site with an offer to place ads there - it makes sense to do this only if the site's theme is in one way or another related to commercial activities, it is successfully developing and has at least several hundred visitors per day. "Amateur projects" rarely manage to find direct advertisers, as a rule, they have to be content with contextual advertising, but if you are lucky and someone is interested in your offer, you can get an order of magnitude more payment for such a service than from visitors clicking on standard contextual ads.
